The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to think differently about we delivered events on behalf of the trade associations and membership groupings we manage.
What We Did
- We hosted a range of webinars, chairing these, preparing briefings and ensuring they were as interactive as possible. We also provided information packs on the COVID-19 business support measures available.
- ISPA UK hosted regular virtual sessions for members to demonstrate the challenges they are encountering and highlighted these directly to Government.
- The Health Tech Alliance delivered webinars to demonstrate the latest thinking from Government and NHS decision-makers on the return of ordinary care in the NHS.
- InsurtechUK reorganised a half-day ‘learning day’ into a series of shorter webinars to help their start-up members on specific topics.
The various trade associations and membership groupings have successfully shaped the Government’s business support measures and some now have regular dialogue with Government Departments and regulators. We have also developed an archive of B2B support designed to help start-ups through COVID-19.
