About the role

As a result of growth across the business we are looking to hire this new role within our Measurement & Analytics department. The department supports our clients with everything from measurement strategy, through implementation to visualisation and analysis.


We are looking for a highly creative and data-driven individual to take ownership of insight, reporting and data storytelling across the agency. This will include working directly with clients based on their requirements, while also being involved in the delivery of insights from the MarComms activity managed by our service teams.


The Data Storyteller & Insights Analyst will be responsible for turning marketing data sets into actionable, easy to understand narratives that engage and inform. Generating reports, documentation and insights as part of the analysis process and presenting these to the client.


Our Technical Analytics team ensures our clients data is reliably collected and accurate. The Data Storyteller & Insights Analyst will support them in this process by identifying clients business questions and translating these into data collection requirements - the metrics and dimensions that are needed to ensure we are reporting on the right things.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and interpret MarComms data sets to identify key insights and trends
  • Leverage story-telling skills to deliver insights that are clear, concise and practical
  • Translate data into clear, concise, and impactful visualisations and presentations
  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a variety of formats, including presentations, reports, and interactive dashboards
  • Identify clients reporting needs and communicating data requirements to colleagues in the Analytics team.

Skills and Experience

  • An excellent understanding of digital data such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social platforms.
  • Previous exposure to data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI.
  • The ability to find interesting trends within datasets and to extract the relevant insights from these.
  • Confident in presenting to clients, both face-to-face and via virtual meetings.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple digital channels and how they work together (SEO, CRO, Social, PR, etc.)
  • A proven record of communicating your findings to a non-technical audience, eloquently narrating the story behind the numbers.
  • Comfortable working as part of a distributed team across four continents.
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills (English), with the ability to communicate complex insights to audiences of differing levels of understanding.
  • Knowledge of SQL for querying databases is a bonus.
  • Able to work across core EMEA business hours, though with global clients some flexibility in working hours is required.
