SUPPORTING CHARGEPOINT THROUGH A SPAC
ChargePoint has been a long-term client of Clarity’s and we’ve worked closely with the world’s leading EV charging network as it’s continued to grow globally. Our work ranges from product news and corporate announcements, to the creation of thought-leadership content, market positioning and industry commentary. In 2020 we we were asked to support ChargePoint as they went through their first SPAC.
Working with internal stakeholders, lawyers and specialist advisors to create a strategy that adhered to the strict communication regulations needed announce a SPAC. We implemented a media strategy that leveraged our strong media relationships to provide our most trusted journalists with news under embargo, before executing a European wide media relations campaign to get the news out far and wide.
In addition to interviews with major news outlets such as Reuters, The Financial Times, Handelsblatt and The Economist, Clarity secured over 30 pieces of coverage in the UK, The Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and Norway.
